As a Texas state licensed acupuncturist, the practitioner Kim Toi Owens (L.Ac.) is legally certified to diagnose patients according to Oriental Medicine model, perform acupuncture and related treatment modalities; as well as prescribe Chinese herbal medicine. The clinic also dispenses herbal pills and herbal extracts on site.
Supplemental therapy with microcurrent or millicurrent (electro-acupuncture), color & light therapy using Acutron may be used when appropriate.
A Texas state L.Ac. licence is issued by the Texas Medical Board that is renewable each year.
